We are now officially open for the summer, everyday 9am-5.30pm. At the moment we have only strawberries ready to pick at £4.20/kg. They are looking fantastic and crying out to be picked!
With the current guidelines, we have put the following important measures in place to allow you to enjoy your visit safely:
- For payment, we will be contactless only. No cash transactions.
- Please keep to the social distancing rules of 2 metres between yourselves and members of other households
- No picnics. We understand in past years this has been a lovely part of your trip, but for now please do not bring picnics to the farm. This will help us manage numbers and keep everyone safe.
- Our toilets are open, but please do not use these unless absolutely necessary. If you do need to use them, please ensure you wipe all surfaces down before AND after use, using the cleaning products provided.
- Hand sanitizer is available. Please use this before and after you have been picking.
This is our first week, please be patient with us as we get used to working in this new way. We may need to adjust these measures throughout the summer, depending how this week and future ones go. It goes without saying how important it is that we all stick to these rules, for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
And finally, we look forward to welcoming you to the farm!
Hi would I be able to come along with my granddaughter. Would like to come Saturday what are your opening times please
Hi Debbie, we’d love to welcome you and your granddaughter! We’re open everyday 9am-5.30pm. See you on Saturday!
Hello I am interested about cherries? When can we come? Thanks
Hi Marcela,
Sweet cherries are ready now. Morellos will be ready in a few weeks!
Interested in PYO throughout the Summer Periods
Great! We look forward to seeing you!
So happy you are open again! Have I missed the cherries or are they still to come?
They started last week, so you still have time to come and pick them!
Hi, early yet I know, but will you still be having trays of blackcurrants to buy around mid-July?
Hi Barbara, apologies for the delay in replying – yes we still have blackcurrants trays ready to buy! Give us a call before you come so we can make sure we have enough and put some aside for you.
Hello, is there anything else at all other than strawberries available? So glad you’re open. One of our favourite places 😃
Hi Danielle,
We’re really low on strawberries right now. But we also have cherries, raspberries and tayberries!
Hello, do we need to book advance to come in on this Sunday? And how busy is the farm?
Hello! You don’t need to book in advance but the farm is pretty busy. We ask that everyone stays for no more than an hour or two.
Planning on visiting next week, do we need to pre-book?
Also, any raspberries yet?
We’re not doing pre-booking at this stage, so you’re fine to just come along. Raspberries started this week and will be great next week. See you then!
When do u guys open for cherry for picking up this season
Sweet cherries are already ready to be picked, but sour cherries/morellos are not ready yet – in a few more weeks. See you soon!
Hi – are strawberries available to pick tomorrow (Tuesday 23rd June) ?
Thanks
Trish
Hi Trish, apologies for the delay in replying – we respond much faster on Facebook and Instagram, promise! We are pretty much finished with strawberries. Raspberries are in a dip but the autumn varieties will be ready in the next week or so. We have plenty of blackberries, redcurrants and plums! Plus some blackcurrant trays in the shed.
